GeeZ
The previous owner of 280Z used a dash cover attached with silicone adhesive that came with the dash. Now, I am trying to add new gauges but the dash cover interferes with tach removal. Anyone remove a dash cover similar to this one without damaging it. I tried a spatula but the cover starts to make noise like it was cracking. Any help would be appreciated.
datsun79z
I went thru the same situation. Sadly, that is a permanent install. I had to cut and tear mine out one bit at a time. When I install the new one, it will be done using velcro. Mike
qwik240z
I was not able to remove my cover without damaging it either. Just tear it out and then buy a new cover.
GeeZ
I was afraid of that. Oh well, it is painted every orange like the car and the glare is really a problem anyway. So, off it goes. Thanks. I was not able to remove my cover without damaging it either. Just tear it out and then buy a new cover.
