Jesse OBrien
I really wish I had some pics on hand, but I guess a description will have to do. I just put an s130 clutch master cylinder in my s30 to replace the VERY badly bent and seized one that came in the car. After I had everything bolted up, the shaft just kind of ... fell out ... of the master cylinder, and it really isn't even long enough to reach the pedal. Is the shaft in the s130 MC shorter than in the s30 MC? Does anybody know what the shaft length actually is?
ezzzzzzz
I'm guessing no one has done this or had that problem. Your using the old push rod? Can it be lengthened? Any reason why you chose to use the S130 MC or the S30?

blue72
DOh! you are right. Now to activate my search function! Actually, since we're talking about the clutch MC rod, you can just weld on an extension piece if it isn't long enough. Well, if you've got access to a welder or some threaded bar stock. jintei
i had the same problem on mine, the shaft is indeed shorter. just welded a pair of nuts on the adjustable rod end (the threaded piece where you pin the pedal
Jesse OBrien
Since I lack a welder and have a spare s130, I may just see if the s130 pedals fit in the s30 chassis.
stevo_gj
Since I lack a welder and have a spare s130, I may just see if the s130 pedals fit in the s30 chassis. I purchased a 280zx pedal box for my 260z, and the pedals weren't interchangeable. I ended up having to get a proper 260z box.
