ruggedbert
The floor boards in my Z are decent, but not as straight as I would like them to be, and my frame rails are shot. Any try this MSA floorboard and frame rail replacemet kit? http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/30-7317 Any pics? Other options that are in the same price range? Is the Zedd findings kit better? Thanks R
signal34
A friend had good luck with Bad Dog frame rails. Based on his experience they are what I'm using on my 77. http://www.baddogparts.com/index.htm
ruggedbert
HMmm so should I get the Zeed FIndings floorpan without the frame rail option, and add the Bad Dog rails instead? Or should I do both Zedd Findings rails and bad do rails, as i know they are designed to work well together... I will be pushing 350-400 whp Thanks
z-ya
You don't really need the Zed Findings rails if you are using the Bad Dog ones. Pete
AkumaNoZeta
I never knew about these floor pans before, I was just gonna use plain plate for mine. How stiff would the car be using these floors and the replacement frame rails with subframe connectors compared to my previous idea of replacing the entire front frame with 2X3 rectangular tubing going all the way to the rear subframe? I know my idea would be stiffer but how much stiffer? In fact I just go ahead and buy the replacement frames and keep it that way until I actually start modding the car.
