Guest Pegasus76
I just replaced my clutch today and I have a T-5 transmission. I put 4 quarts of Dexron fluid in there and I put a 10" clutch...And it uses 73 half ton truck pressure plate don't ask... (73 camaro engine) but yeah...So now the clutch feels a lil weird and if I let out a lil bit it jumps (considering I am used to letting it out almost all the way I got a lil scared) but anyway...4th and 5th gear go in real smooth but 1st and 2nd is really hard. What should I do to adjust that or is it normal?
Mike C
Because the new clutch dis is thicker than the one you replaced, the length of travel of the pedal before release has been reduced. I don't think there is any adjustment to the GM hydraulic linkage. Drive it for a couple of days and see if the feel and your comfort improve, then reevaluate.
