Google keeps sending infringement emails on uploaded videos that have been deleted!

Alright, I had a bunch of videos in my Google account. I had received one email on copyright infringement issues about a video, I delete it. I received a second one on another video, so I delete it, however I was getting tired of these emails about videos I don't care about anymore so I went ahead and cleared out ALL of my videos in the account. This was a couple of weeks ago I might add.

I have now received 3 more emails! I don't even have videos on my account and I received 3 infringement emails! They give you the title of the video and yes, I do recognize those titles but I deleted everything so what the hell?! I don't want to get so many of these things that they shut down my account because I do my business, my school work, all my log ins through this email.

I'm finding it extremely unfair that I can't find any email address for Google Video support. They link you to a forum which no one uses so your questions never get answered! Any ideas on how to stop this madness?!

:fmad:

I started getting some warnings about some of the music content in some of my vids on youtube. I too pulled the vids before they deleted them. Now I can't comment on your repeated contacts about vids already deleted, but I picked up a music soundtrack generator (Sony Cinescore) No more copyright infrigements...Though I did get a comment that one of my mellow soundtracks (z's in the rain) sounded a bit too much like some adult movie soundtrack. Whoops.

Anyways, I think these crackdowns are only going to increase.

Re post the vids with new or no music...at least the vids with Z's in them.

Yah, I made it a point to mention Youtube, guess I didn't on here. All my youtube videos are fine, no music involved. This most recent one has a radio in the background since I had it turned on when I shot the video, if thats an issue then I can delete it. Every email they have sent has been about a video that has been deleted and I have no one to contact other than that stupid forum. Basically I'm viewing this as my account is a ticking time bomb if I can't get any contact info for Google... unless they just run out of videos to ***** about, which they may but I do remember mixing a lot of school projects and stuff to music and then uploading it on there so I can access them at school...

They have a section for "filing a dispute" to "receive more contact information on the owner of the material" however look what it says right under it...

"If, on review, the alleged copyright holder believes that your video infringes on its rights, expect that they will file a notification of alleged infringement under Section 512©(3) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act."

If I speak up, guess what, I get owned. DOAH!

So far I have had no issues with vimeo.com. Youtube has barked at me a few times.

I like the idea of allowing the owner of the music that I choose for my video, to advertise themeselves on the webpages containing my video. One hand washing the other. Why can't we all play together nicely!?

Yah no kidding, if the song is being played for background music I would think of it as advertising as long as you have credits for the record label and artist.

My main problem is figuring out how to contact Google to see what I'm expected to do. Its expected for me to delete these videos but they already have been deleted so what is there left to do and why do I keep getting the nasty mail from them when ITS NOT THERE.

I'm calling their headquarters/offices tomorrow or Monday. I can't afford to lose this email account.
