Blown77Z
Anyone have an idea on where to buy some? I need inner and outer clamps for a Q45 boot. I have looked with dismal results......
JMortensen
The only way I could find those stupid clamps was to buy a whole boot kit. I ended up using some stainless steel straps from Harbor Freight. They're not crimp on, but I got mine on pretty tight with a pair of pliers. I don't see the straps on their website anymore, but that doesn't mean that they don't have them. jasper
Go to the GOOD local parts store. There is a S/S , one size fits all ,clamp available. CHEAP. Just buy the cheap install tool , and few of these and you're set. Even good for CV boots. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CV-JOINT-BOOT-BAND-IT-CLAMP-INSTALLER-----BRAND-NEW-!!_W0QQitemZ350142917072QQcmdZViewItem I have used them many times, as good as ANY other on the market!!!! Blown77Z
None of my local parts stores carries them. Oreilly, Autozone, Carquest, Napa...... I did find some, but this company seems to only sell them to businesses by bulk. http://www.murraycorp.com/index.pl/keystone_boot_clamps.htm

I even tried the dealer with no luck.

SATAN
I found another source, just not sure if they sell them to individuals... http://www.hoseclamp.com.tw/products-engs.htm BTW, I'm using these atm for my clamps. Hope they hold ! I use the same thing, only I make sure to use two of them coupled together. This way I can put the screw section on opposite sides of each other for balancing reasons.
