kcambron Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 Is a 1975 front spindle the same as a 1973? My 73 has a stuck strut cartrige. How stuck you ask? I first pulled so hard the shaft pulled out of the cartridge. Time to get the big guns out, I put a large eyelet with two nuts on it down into the cartrige, filled the empty cartrige with epoxy, next day I chained one end to a telephone pole the other to a 15000 lb tractor! I would have bet my life on that cartrige coming out, wrong! straightened out the 1/2 inch eyelet.
