  1. I just scrapped every small piece of undercoating off my 73 240 and I am going to just put 3 to 4 coats of Zerorust back under it. My car will only be driven in good weather and if it gets wet I'll put a fan under it untill dry. The reason I am not putting undercoating back is I want to see rust when it first starts and it will be easier to fix without all of the "tar" under there. I'll let you know in 20 years how it went!
  2. I need front and rear, left and right seat supports for my 73 240z. Thanks, Kevin
  3. Hello, I need front and rear seat brackets (both sides)for my 73 240z. They can just be rough cut out with a sawzall and I can clean them up.Thanks, Kevin
  4. I started reassembling my suspension and noticed some different heights on my coil springs. I pulled the manual out and noticed the RIGHT side coil is supposed to be about 1/2" longer than the LEFT. With the driver on the left this sounds wrong. Any thoughts or info? Thanks, Kevin
  5. I had my coil springs separated but somehow they got mixed up(one of many moves). Is there any difference front to back side to side? These all come from the same car but one is slightly longer?Any suggested lengths? Thanks, Kevin
  6. I can't remember if my struts had the rubbers "bellows" to protect the strut cylinder. Is this needed? I notice some have them, some don't? Thanks, Kevin
  7. My computer crashed and I lost most of my links, I'm looking for the essembly order for the rear stub axle. I think I'm straight except for the copper washer. Thanks, Kevin
  8. Help! I thought I done my homework. I bought new 1981 Maxima rear Caliper brackets, 1981 280zx rotors and 1981 280zx calipers and hangers. I had the rear axle was off so I didn't need to cut the mounting bracket, fits fine. The 1981 280zx calipers do NOT fit my brackets. I read about 15 post that said they would? Thanks for the info, Kevin
  9. I have a tank from a 1975 EFI car. It is very solid with only light rust, has sending unit, It will need to be boiled out, about $40 locally. i would take 100 or trade even for a 1973 tank. Thanks, Kevin
  10. I'v heard how well the 75 tank fits in a 1973 z, but mine hangs down way to low and just fits poorly in every way,I'm sure it's a 75, tank could it have been an option tank that fits different?
  11. I'v read most of the posts on fuel tank options for the l28et engine in older z cars(1973 240z).I was looking at a very clean tank I have from a 1981 zcar and think it will work if it is sectioned, remove about four inches from one side opposite of the entry hole. The strap indentions are about 1/2" to 3/4" off from my 1973 but I can work with that. Has anyone gone this route, taken any dimensions? I have a 1975 tank but it looks like the 81 tank will not hang as low(a plus to me). Thanks, Kevin
  12. I currently have some 70's era aluminum slotted mags, but may go with the original steel wheels/caps. Thanks, Kevin
  13. I'm starting essembly of my springs/struts and wondered if the small rubber "snubber" is neccesary on the spring? Thanks
  14. I've spent quite a bit of time reading up on this conversion but have one question, will this combo clear my 14" wheels? 1981 Maxima brackets 82 rear rotors 81 280zx caliber Thanks, Kevin
