Chemicalblue
I need some help with figuring this out, here is the calc that I'm trying to use. http://forums.haltech.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1880&p=7950&hilit=injection+firing+angle#p7950 I'm trying to set the "injector firing angle" map up on my ecu and I have no idea how to get the numbers to plug in. PalmettoZ
Hey- Do you have a baseline in which to start with on your ECU? I would assume so. Your injection angle I believe is the angle between firing pulses based on a 360 degree circle. For example hypothetically a 25 millisecond pulse could "pulse" at a 10 degree injection angle meaning it would fire 36 times for one engine revolution. Since every engine flows differently you would need to start with a baseline and a dyno and O2 sensor for feedback and keep doing runs to fine tune it. Hope this helps-
