wondersparrow
I have a few sets of wheels for my track car. One problem I have is that one set uses shank-type lugs and the other 2 sets use tapers. A few people have told me that there are sleeves that you can press in to the shank-type wheels to allow the use of taper nuts. The problem is I can't seem to find them anywhere and I don't really know what to call them (makes googling difficult). Has anyone heard of such a beast? And/or know where to get them? srgunz
They call them wheel inserts. Try here. http://www.prestigewheel.com/Imagewi510.asp

Challenger
Why dont you just buy another set of lugnuts? Its like $17 bucks to do it right.
wondersparrow
Well the shank wheels are for my rain tires on my track car, the tapers are for my slicks. I wanted the lugs to be the same so that its one less thing to worry about at the track. I have a full set of spare open ended tapers I keep with me at the track. If they are quality inserts and you press them in properly, there should be no issue.
