Goober
I have my eye on a 3phase 400amp tig welder. Has anyone ever heard of powercon and are the welders any good.
tannji
Depends on the particular model. If you get the year and model number, I can give you some feedback on it, if not today, certainly tomorrow from work. Powercon is an Indian company, and has made some good machines, including some sold under the Esab name. Some others are not so good and would be best avoided. AK-Z
Haven't heard of them before, and I have no idea Inless you have a shop and/or your house is located on an industrial power grid, I beleive that welder isn't going to work
mrandrei
I use a Powercon 400. It is a energy efficient welding rectifier and effective in power savings.
