7MGFORCE Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 i remember reading something about the bolt grade that was recomended for the crosmember but i can find it now. im using grade 5 bolt for engine crosmember is this okay? and what grade do you guys use to mount the jtr tranny mount to the shell? will grade 8 be enough? Kingnothing616 Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 The only place i would say grade 8 is a must would be where you mount the setback plates, and spacers to the block as they are pretty long and endure more stress.
