After racking my brain to come up with a complicated bracket for my AC compressor, I ended up with a similar bracket to what you describe. I added an additional diagonal leg from the front of the bracket to the third motor mount bolt. I have some good pics of the bracket, but unfortunately my hosting service is down for repairs right now. I 'll post the pics as soon as they're back up. My bracket is almost and exact copy of that, except for the leg down to the lower motor mount bolt - I didn't do that, but it's probably a good idea. AL, from now on, if doesn't mind, I'll just link to your site or this thread when someone asks about my A/C bracket - show them yours instead!
