Guest Anonymous
I knew I had a picture of it when someone asked, but couldn't find it. I just came across it..... ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com

Guest Anonymous
Hey! Maybe that Merlin V12 will fit in my Z.... Kidding... Anyone know what those Jag motors weight? Aluminum or not, looks heavy (looks like the air plenums were trimmed as well I see..). Probably sounds pretty cool though. Guest Anonymous
I dunno the exact weight of the V12 but I believe they're heavier than a Chev V8. When you do the Jag-Chev conversion, I think you need different front springs as a result of the weight loss. Interesting though; my other car IS a Jag, to quote the bumper sticker. I've got a 6, though, not the 12, a '73 XJ6. I'd actually love to go sick on an XJS but the sheer dollars the damn things cost to play with is ridiculous. But boy you get a nice result. There's a guy in the Jag club here (admittedly a Jag specialist repairer) who's getting over 600 h.p. from a 12, running at 7-8000 RPM or somesuch.... And yep it sounds great.... Also, on the Merlin V12 note, see this: http://www.rodshop.com.au/project55.htm I've seen it (at an airshow of all things!) but I've never heard/seen it run, dammit... pparaska
Man, that thing is beautiful! I'll take two. One for some kind of car, and the other in the Thunder Mustang (P-51 copy)!
Guest Anonymous
Yeah, the Falconer is gorgeous. I'd love to have one in like a 32 Ford (elongated frame no doubt!), the headers would be really sick looking.. six into 1's on each side.. Lone He he It's just a small block chevy with 4 more cyl's. and I have test fitted in a Z (by the numbers) and it will fit. And it's lighter than a SB chevy . . . . but how much does it cost?????
