randy 77zt
a buddy hooked me up with a ride in his friends boat .did about 100 miles.this boat will run out to 105mph+.cruises nice at around 90mph.these boats are addicting to drive but turn into a very expensive habit.it got about 85 degrees today-good weather before the crowds come out and it is not safe to have a good time running at high speed. dr_hunt
Looks like the motor is almost as big as the boat!!!!! Nice ride. jt It's on a jack plate, designed to just let the prop be in the water insead of the shaft housing. Tunnel hull probably weighs about 300 or so pounds. Awesome fun!!! Friend of mine has one, the holeshot was amazing! Could cavitate the prop on demand at low speed by nailing the throttle! cygnusx1
My neighbor broke his neck and leg in a boat like that one. Him and his brother built the hull out of balsa, ply, and aluminum. Then they strapped on a massive outboard and were doing insane speeds on the morning calm lake water. All of a sudden, she flipped. He was rescued. The boat splintered, the engine sank and was never recovered. There is nothing like the sense of speed you get on the water. Really nice boat you got a ride in!
