Sean 83ZXT Posted February 23, 2001 Share Posted February 23, 2001 I've noticed after getting hot or driving on the freeway for a length of time, when I arrive at a stop my idle is pretty high. Sometimes it even reaches 1500 RPMs. Well the other day I took off my oil cap while the engine was running to look at something and the idle dropped down to about 800-900, albeit kinda rough but still down to spec. Does this mean my PCV or EGR system might not be working properly? I've replaced a bunch of hoses and can't find a vaccum leak at all.
