blueovalz
Does this mean the brake lights are not presently on, or that the brake light don't work when applied? My first guess based on the info is that perhaps you are really looking at brake lights that are stuck on by a bad pedal switch. I've gotten the brake and normal driving lights mixed up before and this may be what is happening here too.

pparaska
Like Terry (blueovalz) said, check that stop switch down by the pedals. Also the turn signal switch also is part of the brake light circuit.
Guest Anonymous
Hey guys, Thanks to all that replied!! I have fixed the problem. The stopper on the break pedal had rotted off and the brake light switch was engaged the whole time. Cost me $1.70 at the dealer. I like the cheap fix. Thanks a bunch fellas Foster
