DekThaiG35
Finally found a car for the project, I bought it for 400 dollars + Towing. This is my first car project ever and I'm not going to lie...I was intimidate by the rust spot on the car but I kept reminding myself that this is what's fun about restoring a classic ride and I am one of the hundreds in this forum that face the same issues Boy...All I can say that cleaning up all junks, pulling, stripping is a @$#$@!!!! My goal to have my car look almost exactly like this! Same color but with CF Hood here and there....such a beautiful car! Here are some pics DAY 1 Strippin' ain't no FUN! Not too bad...a lot more work to do...ARGG!! At the rear window Another rust Driver's door rusticastic! Another picture under the car...floor panel... It seems like 1st or 2nd owner did a ghetto patch up on the the floor panel....I was planning to replace them anyway but its just funny to see how bad the job was done... The roof! The Roof! THE ROOF IS ON FIRE!! uh....Rusts... This is the floor panel from inside..noticed how decent it was from top view....yeah... Passenger side Over all, I was quiet happy on the car. I expect worst but hey, there are a lot of learning curve for me to learn...btw...if anyone know how to take off the door please let me know! lol, one of the door on the passenger side had no door knob? and I can't figured out how to open...I even went inside and try to "Kick" it lol. DekThaiG35
DON'T Buy this weaksauce paint strip...I thought it was the same...ITS NOT! BUY THIS I will take picture later on, the differences between two type is VERY noticeable...best combo to strip the paint is to use it with paint removal disc attached to air tools.
