jzd14 Posted December 27, 2001 Share Posted December 27, 2001 i find a way to take out the factory radio from my 240z without braking all the plastic i tried taking out the fuse box but that didn't help any and i can't figure out how to get the face plate on the instrument panel detached from the heater please help me! There are two phillips-head screws holding the heater control box onto the panel on each side of it. You need to reach up from behind to get them. Get plenty of light on the problem, and you should be fine. It was not very hard for me, but if you don't have long skinny arms you might have to really work to get a screwdriver in there. Good luck.
