omar_munoz123 Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Ok so i just finished doing a conversion to some carbs but i got stuck with a problem... I replaced the electrical fuel pump to a electrical carburater fuel pump at the back but the positive cable wont work since i took out the wiring harness so how can i get power to the pump...??? I need to connect it to something that'll turn on when the car does otherwise if i just connect it to the battery or something it'll be pumping gas all night lolz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spacecase70 Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 you can use the connecter to your ignition box under the right side of the dash, connect to the white wire, and your fuel pump will only run when the key is in the run or start position, thats what i did when i had carbs on mine. it worked like it should have till i decided to put the FI back on.
