Guest Anonymous
I was thinkin on putting a fuel cell in the "trunk" of my z. I dont want to have to fill up every 10 miles, but I dont want to have to do anything too drastic to make one fit. Any Ideas? Thanx
Guest Drewz
I removed the spare tire well, as a few others here have, and put my cell there. If you go to the photo albums in my link below you can get an Idea of what I did. Others here have better photos though.
Tim240z
Yeah, I did the same....used a 16 gallon cell which fits tightly (leaving room for exhaust), but nicely and 16 gallons, even with a thirsty V8, is plenty....about 200 + mile range. Here's some pics. Tim
BLKMGK
Cut the spare tire well out too - 10gallon aluminum cell with sump in back. Fill through the trunk with a sheet steel cover and door covering it for protection. Pics on my site...
Owen
Also cut out the tire well, and made a box around the cell like others have done. Link to my pix somewhere near bottom on http://v8zcar.com/s30z/quo.htm Owen
Guest JAMIE T
I will be putting a cell in the same location that the others have. I think Mikelly has a 22 gallon job in the same location, with the 6 spd, he's in it for long haul
