I have a stock RB25. Maf and all... lol

Peak power is suppose to be made at 6800rpm I had a spark plug miss fire at 5000rpm and still put down 252hp and 233 ft/lbs

My AFR was a bit to lean as well.

Thats a very reasonable number for a stock 26.

Congrats

the rb26 is extremely underrated, thats part of the reason i went with this engine. it was either an rb26, vq35, or ls1. the rb26 still dominates all in stock form...

its a noisey engine but gets the job done..

not sure how the rb26 dominates the LS1 in stock form. But hey, I like them better anyway.

  • 4 weeks later...

mods are 12 psi.. feels alot faster. im going to turn it up to 15 psi pretty soon. after that its a set of gt2860s most likely with a tomei oil pump and apexi power fc or AEM (havent decided) and a good clutch.

The 240z will not need any more power after that for a street driven car.
