Dave
Does any one know a source on the internet for the male end that is on a welding lead and the female receptacle that is at the welder that the welding lead plugs in to? When I ask at a welding supply store they want to know what type of welder it is for. All I want to do is put a couple of the female receptacles on my Z so I can connect a jumper battery since the battery is not all that accessable. Dave... Guest Anonymous
Well two ways I'd try to do it, either find a welder that has the plug you want (at a welding supply place) and use that model number for them to look it up. Or, I'd check with the 4X4 places as they often use those on they're bumpers for easy jumpstarting. My friend had just such a arrangement on his Chev 4x4, not sure where he got it although he was a welder as well... Another thought is maybe an electric forklift, they use a rather large plug on the charger, you may be able to buy that cable and plug and make that work. Hope that helps somewhat, its the only things I can think of off hand. Regards, Lone
johnc
IO Port, Racer Parts Wholesales, and Pegasus all sell battery jumper connectors.
