280zNHChris
I blasted down the rims off my 82 turbo parts car and coated them a single coat transparent black/grey. Put falken 912's 225/50/15 on them. They ride nice and quiet. It also got rid of the shimmy in the steering wheel from the other tires. All around I'm pleased. I didn't clean them after they put them on so the spots are some wax. I also blasted and coated the lug nuts.
sweetleaf
Looks good. I would have left the lip polished though.
280zNHChris
After 27 years they weren't polished any more. Also they had corrosion divits, so I had to sand down below them all at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock on all four. I wanted the corrosion resistance and the ease of cleaning. This is a smooth gloss coating, very easy to clean.
blue72
That's not a bad outcome. I like the fact that it cleans them up as well as hiding most of the minor imperfections and curb rash.
