Daniel280zx
Daily driver is 79 280zx i have a clunk somewhere in the front suspension. I have replaced all tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, and idler arm bushings. I am getting a loud clunk only when a make you turns or jerk the wheel very hard and sometimes under hard breaking. Dose anyone think that the shock bearings could be making this clunk?
johnc
Check the gland nut holding the shock inside the strut, check the upper insulator mount.
GLENN280ZX
Yea, same as John here, and check your 'RAG-JOINT'. It is located directly beneath your master cyl. in the steering shaft.
