Guest Zpeed
Hey guys I've just got a Razo shift up indicator, with shift light from a friend who got it from a jap import, and therefore doesn't have the manual to install the thing it has 3 wires coming out of it... 1 thin red, 1 thin black, and one thick black... i was thinking, red to positive, thin black to negative, and thick black to coil ... would that sound right, or not... anyone got any ideas... when i open up the casing,.. the red wire says +B on the circuit board, the thick black wire says GND, and the thin black wire has IG... now i'm confused which one is the earth/ground... Guest Anonymous
The +B is battery positive terminal, the GND is ground. I assume that IG is ignition (switch)controlled power. The first two are common circuitboard designations.
Guest Zpeed
does the IG part go to the coil.. or what not
SleeperZ
The remaining wire has to go to the coil - probably the minus, the typical place to hook the tach and measure RPM.
