If you look, there's a blurry circle at the top, that's the running lights of the plane, there are a lot of flames and explosions on the ground, and coming down from the plant to the ground are fans of light, wide where they meet the circling track and narrow where they meet the Viet cong, thats the tracer. It's like those time lapse exposures artsy photographers love of streaks of tailights across bridges or through a spaghetti junction flyover. That help? I see what looks to be a time laps ring but there is a flame like it was a still picture. EDIT: Haha doesn't look like he necessarily cares where he is aiming. Soundmasterg Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Another reason for the prop planes over Vietnam is their loiter time......the prop planes usually could stay on station for hours longer than the jets because they are more efficient in those low and slow conditions than jets are. The limit on the A1 Skyraider's range was actually how much oil it could carry....not how much fuel it could carry. Those big radial engines go through a LOT of oil.......
