fl327 Posted August 14, 2002 Share Posted August 14, 2002 weird one i know. on my l28et car, i messed up somewhere and didnt hook the tach up correctly, light turns on as usual, but wont read, does anyone know which wire i can cut and feed directly to the coil? its bugging me not having a tachometer. same thing for the water temp, not functional right now, which one actually goes to the sender, i need to bypass a wire and wire them both up directly. thanx guys. btw, both are stock guages. R0N Posted August 15, 2002 Share Posted August 15, 2002 Len, Let me guess you never had it working with your new turbo setup? That's what happen to me when I switch to the 280zxt computer. What I did or actually my friend did was get a 280z tach, swap housings and it's new a single wire setup. Connect the negative part of the coil to the single post connect in back of the 280z tach.
