I am not 100% sure there wasn't a slight tune difference in the later 80+ AFM's, but for sure the '75-'78 will be direct replacement in functionality, '79 and '80 should also be the same. The earlier 280-Z cars had an extra switch that yours doesn't have or need, (in your AFM connector, there will be two empty connectors pins), but that wont affect your car/application.
