Guest Anonymous
I'm looking through my shop manual, cant find a spec for the bolts that secure the cam bearings. What is their torque supposed to be? Due to a shitty wrench I have already snapped one bolt. I guess since the bearings are never SUPPOSED to come out you dont kneed to know the torque but what if you burn a cam bearing.... also i tried searching for threads on this subject...no dice. Well, waiting for adice.

SleeperZ
If you are taling about the cam towers, I think they are 8mm bolts threaded into aluminum. Better limit the torque on those to about 15ft/lbs. I heard the "Rebuilding your L series motor" book had the wrong value in it, so be careful.
