fl327 Posted November 20, 2002 Share Posted November 20, 2002 dont know if this has been addressed or not already. i have a line on a real cheap b and m trans oil cooler from a friend of mine who is going manual trans, i know that trans run a lot of pressure and can run really hot, are they interchangible, or will it not work??? anyone? Guest Luigi Posted November 20, 2002 Share Posted November 20, 2002 I used (& our ITS 240Z race car still uses) a B&M part number 70266. The 70265 is also ok. These are bar and plate coolers made by Long coolers. Next time a UPS truck rolls up peek in through the grill. All of the local delivery trucks around here use the same long cooler. easy way to tell is if it has 1/2" female pipe fittings, it is OK. Don't take my word for either call Long or put 2 temporary pressure guages one on the inlet one on the outlet and check your delta p.
