It didnt fire over at first so i did a little tune up oil change, plugs,wires,distributer cap and rotar, fuel filter. It started perfect and idled nice but im getting this horrible noise. stravi757 Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 What have you done to this engine so far, any tests? Its hard to say if its the chain but it could be. Are you sure its not the fan. jhill Posted December 13, 2009 Author Share Posted December 13, 2009 Its definitely not the fan, i figured thats what it was at first so i checked it all out and it clears everything just fine. The alternator fins dont appear to be bent at all either. I took the valve cover off, and while im not exactly sure what to be looking for, everything looked alright.
