denny411
I`ve been considering some sort of led tail light system for some time. Today I stopped at a truck garage to see what they had and what kind of prices. The pre assembled lights that they have, range from 35.00 to 200.00 each (NOT per pair) That`s quite a bit more than I was expecting. I still like the idea, so I`m going to keep looking for other options. Hopefully I will find some better prices.
DavyZ
Denny, that has been a desire of many guys on this forum. Check out Owen's site since he did such a conversion. I think he also gives part #s too. Davy

fl327
i run led bulbs from apc, you can get them at kragen, its not the big bold effect like you guys are going for, but the lights are about 20% brighter and you can see they are LED, at night
280Zone
I converted my stock 75 lights to LED, I bought strips of LED lights and glued them into the tail light housing so they run the full length of the tail light. I like that look better than just the bulbs, but it's a lot more work.
denny411
I was hoping to build a custom panel with at least 3 and possibly 4 horizontal rows of leds. 2 rows red as park and brake 1 row amber as signals and hazards 1 row clear as backup lights Where can you get strips of led`s? All I`ve seen are complete sealed units.
280Zone
I stumbled across a few of the huge LED third brake lights for a good price, I took them home and cut them into the strips and then rewired them.
