Indey
Alright I have a 76 280z stock motor in it, the whole car is stock. Now, sometimes the temperature will rise above normal a bit, but come right back down, and white smoke will be coming from the exhaust. The white smoke typically shows up more often on deceleration. Any ideas?
stravi757
Typically white smoke is a blown head gasket, check your coolant. Has it gone down. Or better do a compression test. Try smelling the smoke next time. If it smells sweet its coolant, burnt is oil(oil should be bluish), and gas...smells like gas(should be black).
