jacob80 Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Hey guys, Just a bizarre issue I'm reporting. Just installed a new head gasket and am trying to re-tune my car. While trying to start, its been stumbling and start momentarily and then dying immediately. Oddly, one of the time I tried to start it, it attempted to start and did moentarily and then all the sudden a poof of smoke came out of the intake filter. I just thought I would report this and see if this is anything to be concerned about. Good news is, I loaded a previous map and got it to start momentarily and it purred to life for about a second with nothing out of the ordinary, so I hope I'm fine but if anyone has any input on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
