hron13 Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 pick your favorite left or right This is with the Schneiders Stage 4 cam, (Right Rocker) We put it in with the provided lash pads (quite tall) and that provided us with little to no lash when the rocker "posts" were completely Screwed down, and IMHO the wipe pattern seems to outboard, (Left Rocker) This was with the shorter Lash pads that came with the motor, With them the Rocker posts had do be screwed out about 1/2 an inch, and the swipe pattern is a little bit more inboard than centered, and Honestly, is a Much better Swipe pattern. Should we just run with the short Lash pads and leave it be, run with the tall ones and leave it be, or run with the short ones and shim them to be centered? cygnusx1 Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 IMO, run the short shims, and try to get the wipe as inboard (towards the post) as you can, if you have spare shims to try out. I don't remember how deep they are to begin with, so make sure you have at least half, to one full diameter of the post, of engaged thread.
