jm9308
Hey Z31 owners. Outlaw engineering make pretty descent gaskets that increase hp output. I personally bought these kit for under 100 bucks for my ford probe gt. The difference is noticeable your engine runs much cooler I went to their site and our z31 are not on their list. So I email them a request to consider making vg30e and vg30et thermoblock spacers. Here what they said. Thank you for your interest in ThermoBlok Spacer Kits. We have been developing ThermoBlok insulators for many new applications, but these Nissan engines are not currently on the list. Our prototyping work order is organized by demand and to date, there hasn't been much interest in insulators for these yet. We generally request 20 commitments prior to the design, prototyping, and production of a new performance part. Pricing for a set, including intake manifold and throttle body insulators along with necessary hardware such as lengthened studs would be in the $100 or less range. Please assess the interest for your group and let us know. Best Regards, Sean Morgan Outlaw Engineering Those interested in starting a positive rally on gaining noticeable HP and other way than the usual and at the same time keeping your engine cool. Just visit their website and submit and email and lets vote on our engine or any other motor for that matter. Past it along guys.... I don't think that would be as beneficial as you think it would be.
Mikez31ss
I don't mean to totally discourage you on this. A few things to consider. Jason Butts already sells TB and LIM to plenum spacers at z31parts.com. The LIM has hot water running through water lines. I don't think you can isolate that. Most z31's are non turbo. Very little benefit there. You could spend thousands on an NA and you'll pick up very little HP. Not many z31 guys post here to see your suggestion. Try the z31 VG30 dedicated sites.
