It's just like I described above--after any button is pressed despite the fact that command worked, the fob gives you the out-of-range signal meaning it got no response from the brain. I tried rebooting. Some say that the antenna needs to be replaced but that only works for a select few. Others say some sort of resistor mod does it, but it's either temporary or not a reliable fix. I can't figure out how to get a hold of DEI to ask them if mine is one of those that should have been recalled or not. Revised units have date code of OK9B (February 2009) or newer. Where did you purchase the alarm from? I'll see what I can come up with searching around. 10k resistor in series on the blue wire in the antenna harness.
