boostless
Well I'm finally working on my zx again and was cleaning up the engine bay. Has any one just pulled the P/S pump and lines off and kept the power rack? I haven't been able to find anything of the sort through searching and was curious. I have done this on a my previous honda and was curious to see if it would be bad for the car before I do it.
frank280zx
I did on a track car.. actually on track it was super .. since the steering becomes fairly haevy it is also sensitive.. for parking and that sort of stuff it is a work out!
boostless
I think I'm gonna go ahead and rip it out, only thing a friend suggested I do is loop the steering hoses
roger280zx
Why not just get a manual rack? Better ratios, lighter weight, bolt on swap. I see no reason to use the power rack with out assist, but what do I know give it a shot.
boostless
I'm in alaska where zx parts are few and far between and shipping up here costs an arm and a leg.
