vega
Ok I have most of my motor mostly built now its a 350 bored to a 360. I am using stock rods that have been approved by my builder. Its a 4 bolt main. I am using hyper. pistons. and a lunati cam. that's the cam kit i have. http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=2505&gid=309 Currently i have no heads, intake or carb. i do have a full serp system. I have been pondering getting new vortecs from summit but is this really going to be my best bang for the buck? I am looking for 350hp at the crank. i don't really want a lot of tq unless its higher up in the rpm range. (see my other threads) I was looking at these. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-12403 Or these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-151124 Unless you guys have some better idea. Btw I am not really looking to any more machine work, i just want something out of a box bolt on pretty much. So- i need opinions and facts. I am looking to cheap out here if i can. Its only 350hp, i don't need or want more. Thanx in advance- vega btw using a 700r4 out of a 3/4 ton van
grumpyvette
the vortec heads http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-151124 with their higher port entrance angle are usually superior, and with the cam you selected I,d go that route Id suggest this intake http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-03-0075/ Edited May 28, 2010 by grumpyvette
