necrotosin
I recently just took off my front and rear bumper from my 77 280z. Also took off the shock absorbers in the front, but not the back yet. Is it possible to even put smaller bumpers on the car? The 240 bumpers seem to be the smallest of them all..Id rather just cut down my bumpers and slap them back on. Just wondering if that is worth the time, or should I just buy front and rear bumpers for it and just throw those on.
Pharaohabq
this is a matter of preference. What are you looking for in a bumper? If you're looking for protection in an accident, then leave the park benches on your car. If not, and you're looking just to be legal, just go with the 240z bumpers. It'd be way too much work to refab the 77' bumpers, they're too heavy to start with. But hey, maybe you have mad skills, We'd love to see another bumper fab idea. Alternately you can get on MSA, and get a bumper kit, different styles, or go with a 240z Carbon fiber or fiberglass repro bumper. All look nice, but again it's your car, you make it how YOU want it, not what we think it should be. Phar
