staledale
Just about ready to close the quarter window in for my GTO. My vella rossa rear tub dosen't cover that area like the other kits do. So I've got to remove the rain gutter and weld in the window. Using a 1"x1" post at the door edge. Just wondering where the lead seam is on the roof. Sure I'm going to find it when I grind it down to weld, but just wanted to know before hand. Thanks.
spotfitz
About 3" from the top edge of the hatch or 5" up from the back edge of the quarter window. Atleast thats where mine measures out on my '74 coupe. Hope it helps
blueovalz
If you are removing the entire drip rail, be aware (on my '71 anyway) that the lead is also at the top corner of the windshield, and the bottoms of the "A" pillar.
staledale
Hey thanks guys, It will be nice to get it cleaned out before I weld. Just taking off the drip rail from the door opening back. (At this time. things might change.)
