patrickhove Posted June 13, 2010 Share Posted June 13, 2010 I was getting ready to section my 2 front struts and I noticed that there not the same. I know there is a right and a left but mine are different otherwise. one has a thicker cast flange the caliper bolts to and is a little taller about 1/4 inch. also the spindle axles are different one continues after the threads stop about 3/8 inch. my car is a 1970 and I have seen all sort of not quite correct factory parts is this part of that.
