how much does the gtx30 run. looks like the perfect setup. I have been waiting to see the gtx in a turbo small enough to use.

I just put some 23" tall tires on my car to help cheat my rear end ratio. now I have very little ground clearance in important areas. what do you guys think is too low. im down to 3" on my skid plate. This is a street car and im not sure at what point I should be worried about smashing things.

btw it is a rear wheel hub

I have a 240z that i am installing some wheel studs in. I have noticed that I am missind a metal collar that rides on the shaft of the hub. it is about 1 inch in dia by maby 3 inch. Im not sure what this part does but since it is in one side of the car i am assuming that it needs to be on the other side. If anybody out there has one they would like to sell please let me know. thanks

sr weighs 200# less and most parts can be found off a nissan sentra ser or 240sx. but overall if crazy hp is what you want get a 2jz

I was getting ready to section my 2 front struts and I noticed that there not the same. I know there is a right and a left but mine are different otherwise. one has a thicker cast flange the caliper bolts to and is a little taller about 1/4 inch. also the spindle axles are different one continues after the threads stop about 3/8 inch. my car is a 1970 and I have seen all sort of not quite correct factory parts is this part of that. Were these this inconsistant or is one of my struts incorrect. anyone out there seen different struts in the 240z. thanks

im looking for 1 rubber isolator off a 240z. the rubber piece on the top of the strut with the 3 studs. Please let me know if you have one you want to get rid of. I actually only need the spacers on the under side. I have finnally found out why my car is crocked now I cant wait to drive it. hopefully someone has one. please let me know how much shipped to california. thanks patrick

its too late for that I likr to do everything the hard way so I allready ripped my donor diff apart and have the ring and pinoin in hand. The diff caps and misc parts were all thrown in a box so im a little leary about just putting it back together now if it matters that the caps go back on the same spot. So as far as I can tell im now stuck with putting the gears in my r200 with lsd in it since it is still in tact thank goodness.

i have a r200 clsd from a 87 300zxt. I just purchased an r200 with a 4.1 ratio to swap gears. my question is can I just yank off the ring gear and bolt it on(pinion too of coarse). I see the bolts are a different size but is there any clearancing on the gears that needs to be done. thanks

I have a 1970 240z that has an sr20det in it. I am having a suspension nightmare. I have installed tokiko illumina shocks and some gc coilovers. some how I have managed to do something to make the rear of my car about 1 inch off side to side. I have to crank the left side coil spring up an extra inch to level the car. at first I thought I put the control arm on upside down but Im pretty sure thats the way it goes. so it seems I have to take apart my suspension and I was just thinking of replacing it with azc coilovers in the process. I cant find any info on these though. only people who I sawnever used coilovers. I see many people making there own kits Im not sure If this is to save money or it it going to work better. I have the azc brakes and love them I just ordered their front control arms also. i have the techno toy rear arms ready to go on. What is going to work best for me I plan on driving this car to work only 5 miles and race it on the weekend. the azc just seem easy and cheap since I need the camber plates anyways. Please give me some input on what works. thanks

I need some gears for my 240z project. It's got an 87 zxt r200 and I have quickly found thhat the 3.7 gears are not nearly steep enough. If anyone out there has any sort of diff that contain the gears i need or a set of gears please let me know. thanks patrick
