boarderline
hey, my coils are pretty shot, I have been looking around for some new coils but no such luck. I talked to a guy on nicoclub and he suggested to try ls2 coils. anyone know how to swap out rb25 s2 coils for ls2's?
pat1
I did the GM coil pack on my RB. It was very easy and cheap.

pat1
Hey boarderline, Do you have a wiring diagram for the s2 ecu. I Have done this for a s1 but not a s2.
linluv84
Just curious, why the ls2 coils? I mean, unless you already had a set laying around, they seem to be about as expensive as the rb coils...

pat1
thats a s1 wiring diagram. Your have to add a z32 ignitor to your wiring harness. The s2 have the ignitors built in to the coil packs. Give me sometime and I'll figure it out
boarderline
if you have a s1 you have to add a ignitor right? the s2 has the ignitor built in and so does the ls2 coils right?
Racinjitter
Yea, ls2 coils have the ignitor built in, no need for another ignitor. Both myself and Evan run ls2 coils, he did a write up. It is over on nicoclub. Same for the GN coil pack writeup. If you don't already have the LSx coils, they aren't cheap. $38 each from the parts stores or you can go with the GN coil pack for under 20 bucks.
