SHRALP_GNAR
I want to drop the front end of my 240 about an 1.5''. i have some eibach springs on and i figured i could cut out a single coil and be about where i want it. the rear already sits a little lower so the wheels are a little off cambered so i figured i would drop the front to match it. eventually i'll correct the camber but for now i just want the wheel gaps to be a little more even. I'm hoping that cutting one coil won't get me into any real trouble. any thoughts?
burninator
Your not the first person to ask this question. I typed "cutting eibach springs" in the search and came back with quite a bit of stuff to read. I suggest you do the same. If you have more specific questions then come back and ask again. SHRALP_GNAR
Did you cut the tight coils?
240Z_Master
Did you cut the tight coils? I personally cut 1 coil off the back of my Tokico springs... and 2 coils off the front (I cut the smaller progressive springs up top)... Wasn't sure about the spring rate on progressive springs but I have no complaints except my left rear wheel rubbing
