jeff81 Posted August 24, 2010 Share Posted August 24, 2010 I am wondering if I should take a risk and rebuild a T56 that is in unknown condition or buy a new T56? The transmission that I have was picked up at a pull-a-part. I have no idea of what may be needed to rebuild it. I cannot do the work myself. What would you suggest? I was given a general rebuild from 750-1700 depending on how bad it is, while a new T56 magnum costs 2700. Any input would be appreciated. Contact stick shift trans and ask him what he would be able to do. The shop is in san bernadino CA though.
