TomoHawk
My florida Z has the plastic window tinting stuck on the windows. Besides a sharp razor blade, what else would help get the stuff off the windows? You don't need the stuff in Ohio. Any special precaution for the back windows with the defroster grid? BayAreaZT
I used soap and water solution with a scouring pad (sp?) or steel wool. I don't think you have to worry about scrubbing the defroster. Just don't slice it with a razor blade.
Lockjaw
An easy way to get it off is to tape a heavy black plastic bag up on the inside of the window and spray windex with amonia on the tint, and put the car out in the sun.
BLKMGK
Side windows - razor and carb cleaner The rear would be a problem though, dunno how best to do that
Evan Purple240zt
Lockjaw is right, ive stripped tint alot (i tint windows) and that works the best. The ammonia softens the tint, it peels off with almost NO cleanup. Evan
DavyZ
Use a squeegie (sp?) to get the black plastic trash bags to adhere once you spray the windows with ammonia. Keep the doors closed and leave the car in the hot sun for a while. They should come off after a while. Davy
TomoHawk
I used ammonia cleaner from the pharmacy. It worked better than dry, but I still had to scrape it all off with a sharp knife.
