tauh
I apologize if this is covered somewhere else. I have Toyota S12+8 front calipers and bought a set of performance brake pads for them, but they do not fit. When I look at the Hawk site it seems that all of the ones for the Toyota's are 4.69" long but mine are ~4.25" long. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks. Try some pads for a Mazda Series 4 RX7 they are nearly identical in shape and all you have to do is weld up the pin holes and redrill them sligfhtly lower. Only about a half hour job and you can get a better range of performance pads. I have Hawk and they are terrific if a bit dusty. Good for the track. h4nsm0l3m4n
Dont know if S12+8 use the same pads as the S12Ws but in case they do I used Hawk brake pads from a 300zx (Z32) in my S12W calipers. This setup gives lots of options for brake pads. Mine fit great, I didnt have to modify a thing. I cant wait to mount them on the car! I believe you can also send them your brake pads as a sample and they will make a set for you to fit with the brake compound of your choice.
