Anyone into Old Volvos? Interested in Identifying one.

I was walking down the street because my DD broke down again for the second time in a few weeks. <_< Anyways as I was walking I spotted an old volvo in a Alley, I have seen old volvos similar but nothing like this wagon. I was wondering if any old volvo buffs could identify it. It said b10 on the grill and 218 on the fender. Another thing I got a kick out of was the speedometer went up to 120. B) Also if it helps identify it the speedometer was one of the older style flat ones not a circle.

Here is the pic I got of it.

It looks like the same thing I did some more research and its a Early Duett but I can't figure out the B10 on the grill or the 218 on the fender, The possibly could have been swapped from something else. I'm guessing this specific one is rare because it isn't the 445 or 544 Duett but a 210 or 218 or something. More researching for me. :D

Edit: I think the b10 is the name of the engine, Not entirely sure, Not a lot of info on the net about these old volvos.

That is a circa 1957 or later Volvo station wagon: the sedans were 544 or 444 ( If I recall correctly. The B10 is the engine designation.) The sedans look like a clean 3/5 scale 48 or so Ford. These are the cars that made Volvo's reputation for tough reliable common sense vehicles. I owned two of them and beat the crap out of them and never failed to get 35 mpg. About 110 mph top and something like 73 mph in 1/4 mile at 5,000 feet back in the day. A clean 544 with a 80's or so Turbo 4 with a 4 speed and overdrive would be a real howl to own. They handle well.

Actually I drove one from Tonopah NV to Beatty NV at about 35 mph in either first or second gear all the way; I was not in any shape to shift..... probably got 35 mpg at the same time too. Tough car; great little car.

Wow thats cool to know thanks Zgeezer, I love the look of the old volvos, My dad has owned a few 80's 240Dl's but older volvo's seem to be plentiful around here, There are a few P1800's and one just down the street. That's surprising that it got such great gas mileage for an old design they look heavy but I guess not. I guess I just have a soft spot for wagons haha.
